Brett Nortman is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Brinc Search Partners, where he brings a modern, tech-forward approach to executive search in financial services. With 18 years of experience, he specializes in placing top talent across private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate, and investment banking.
Before launching brinc, Brett was Managing Director and Co-Head of Financial Services at StevenDouglas. He began his career at Solomon Page, where he ultimately became a Partner and spent over a decade honing his expertise in financial services recruitment.
Known for his strategic mindset and relationship-driven style, Brett pairs deep industry expertise with a hands-on, consultative approach—delivering exceptional results for clients and candidates nationwide. Brett enjoys time with his family, tennis, padel, and traveling.

Ross Cohen
CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Ross Cohen is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Brinc Search Partners. He brings more than 11 years of experience in financial services recruiting, with deep expertise in identifying and placing top-tier talent across a wide range of financial disciplines.
Prior to founding Brinc, Ross served as a Managing Director at StevenDouglas, where he established and led the firm’s financial services practice. His client portfolio included organizations across private equity, real estate, hedge funds, investment management, investor relations, corporate development, investment banking and alternative investments. He began his search career at Solomon Page, following his early experience in equity research as an Associate at Lazard Capital Markets in New York.
Ross’s combined background in both finance and executive search allows him to offer clients and candidates an informed, credible perspective grounded in firsthand industry experience.
